Research has shown that when one only meditates once a day, the benefits are only half as much as those gained by twice daily practice, so regularity is important. Furthermore, the most precious benefits of meditation (reliable intuition, spontaneous right action, and maximum support of nature, etc.) can only become stabilized through the regular alternation of rest and activity. Many meditators find that the momentum they experience during the retreat carries over afterwards and they find it much easier to make two meditations per day part of their daily routine.
January's Theme: Immortality
Since we've made one more trip around the sun since last January, we felt it would be appropriate to explore immortality. Is it physically possible? If so, what do we need to do to manifest it?
