A growing demand for TM teachers across the United States
Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation technique are greatly needed to meet the ever-expanding demand for the TM program. In the United States, Certified TM Teachers are required for large programs in corporate, healthcare, government, and military organizations and settings.
In response to these growing demands, we are pleased to offer an International Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course (TTC) each year to train and certify the next generation of TM teachers. A curriculum of profound knowledge and deep experience offers transformative training to be able to teach the TM technique and support Meditators in their personal growth.
A team of experienced TM teachers and administrators provides support and assistance to course participants throughout the application process and during the course itself. Following your TTC graduation and certification, you will receive continuing support and apprenticeship as you begin your TM teaching career.

TM Teacher Training—profound knowledge and experience
The TM Teacher Training Course is a five-month in-residence international program that prepares you to become a Certified Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique. Course participants from all over the world come together to undertake in-depth training, then return to their countries to teach the TM program.
The TTC journey starts with diving deep into your own inner silence, with a comprehensive program that emphasizes both expanded experiences and intellectual understanding. The course includes:
- Group practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi® programs
- Video presentations by TM Founder Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the role of the TM teacher, seven states of consciousness, enlightenment, world peace, ideal communication, the Vedic tradition, and much more
- Presentations on consciousness by Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., M.A.R.R., the successor of Maharishi and the global leader of the worldwide TM organizations
- Presentations by renowned scientists, medical doctors, researchers, and other leading thinkers, covering research on the TM technique in education, medicine, government, and other fields
- Group discussion and ample time for in-depth questions and answers
- Learning, practicing, and mastering the skills to be a Certified TM Teacher, including the TM Introductory Lecture, personal instruction and follow-up sessions in the TM course, Knowledge Meetings, outreach, marketing, and more
- Plus comfortable accommodations with a private room and bath, and healthy, delicious lacto-vegetarian meals.

Support for your desire to teach the TM Program
Upon graduating from the TTC program as a Certified TM Teacher, you will have the skills needed to teach the TM technique to the general public at local TM Centers. Every effort is made to offer TTC graduates a ready-made place to teach the TM technique upon certification.
When you return to the United States and begin teaching, you will also have the opportunity to receive specialized training for working with healthcare workers in hospitals, corporate management and employees, veterans and those at VA centers, programs for at-risk populations, and other specialized settings.
