Did you know that anxiety disorders are the most common mental health condition in the U.S., affecting over 40 million adults each year? At our June retreat, Dr. Jim Brooks—a psychiatrist in Fairfield, Iowa and Maharishi Ayurvedic Physician—will offer a holistic approach to support your mental well-being. With decades of training across India, Europe, and the U.S., Dr. Brooks integrates Transcendental Meditation, Five Element Acupuncture, and Shadow Work into his practice. He has published research on post-traumatic stress disorder, and has written several published papers and book chapters on the use of natural medicine in mental health.
