At our March retreat, we’re joined by William Stixrud, Ph.D., a clinical neuropsychologist, founder of The Stixrud Group, and co-author of the internationally best-selling book “The Self-Driven Child.” At the heart of Dr. Stixrud’s work is a deeply compassionate, strengths-based approach to children, teens, and young adults. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” he emphasizes identifying and nurturing each child’s innate strengths—the very qualities they will rely on to find their way in the world. Drawing on decades of clinical experience, he will offer practical insights into recognizing children’s strengths, and how to see their challenges as part of “their path” to creating a satisfying life.
