Chanel Pepper reflects on her life as an aerialist, dancer, choreographer, and teacher, sharing stories from performances and travels around the world. She discusses discovering the aerial arts, the discipline and artistry behind her work, and her experiences performing with internationally renowned productions and events. Ms. Pepper also talks about learning the Transcendental Meditation technique, how it supports her creativity, focus, and balance, and the role inner silence and self-awareness play both on stage and in everyday life.
ABOUT CHANEL PEPPER
Chanel Pepper is an international performance artist and educator currently based in Los Angeles. She has performed alongside famous artists like Carrie Underwood and has appeared in Ballet Red, Gala de Danza, Desperado Show, and When the Lights Go Out.
Ms. Pepper specializes in aerial arts, including hoop, silk, and the unique discipline of hair hang. Before her 14-year aerial career, she has had a deep love of dance from at the age of three—a passion that continues to shape her artistic expression today.
Throughout her career, Ms. Pepper’s creative work has been supported by a dedication to meditation, embodiment, and inner development. She is currently majoring in Consciousness and Human Potential at Maharishi International University, where she is exploring the relationship between consciousness, creativity, and performance.
