João Belo, Head of Customer Experience Operations (CXO) for the Americas at Roche, will discuss the impact of his 10-year TM practice on the arc of his career. He will talk about his lifelong interest in philosophy, the role that the understanding of consciousness has played in his personal and professional development, and his interest in attending the upcoming 10,000 Course in India.
ABOUT JOÃO BELO
João Belo oversees business support services in the areas of IT, finance, and procurement for thousands of employees at Roche, one of the largest biotechnology companies in the world.
Prior to Roche, Mr. Belo worked at several other major companies, including Abbott Laboratories and Procter & Gamble, in the areas of marketing and corporate finance. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Chicago. Born and raised in Mexico City, he has worked and traveled throughout the Americas and Europe.
In addition to his work, Mr. Belo has had a lifelong interest in the philosophical traditions of the East, as well as the Christian mystics, such as St. Teresa of Avila, Meister Eckhart, and Thomas Merton. He also has a passion for skydiving, hiking in nature, and spending time with his children, Amalia and Aspen, sixteen and five years old, respectively.
