ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Layman “Buzz” Allen, a longtime teacher of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique, discusses his family’s educational legacy through the Accelerated Learning Program, founded in 1998 by his father, Layman E. Allen. The program promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in education. Mr. Allen recounts his father’s pioneering work in developing educational games, such as WFF ‘N Proof and Equations and Onsets, which were implemented in inner-city schools, improving math achievement and reducing absenteeism. Mr. Allen also discusses his own work, teaching courses in Maharishi International University’s (MIU) Continuing Education program and co-directing the Maharishi Global Archives housed in the MIU library.
