ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Native American Certified TM Teacher Maggie Waukon-Smith will talk about the experience of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska when the TM technique was introduced. She will discuss changes in herself, in the elders who participated in diabetes research, and in the students in the Quiet Time program at Winnebago High School. These changes inspired her to become a TM teacher and have led her to a beautiful vision of hope, strength, and reconnection beginning with bringing TM to the Indigenous populations across the nation.
