ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Maharishi International University (MIU) students Sam Okorie and Ansoya Rani discuss their presentations at the recent United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, held March 10–21, 2025, at its headquarters in New York City. The students will also describe the benefits they receive from their TM practice, education at MIU, and their goals to contribute to a better world.
ABOUT ANSOYA RANI
Ansoya Rani is an undergraduate student majoring in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Enlightened Leadership. As the daughter of the National Directors of the TM program in Pakistan, she learned the TM technique at the age of six and completed the TM-Sidhi program at 18. She is currently the MIU student government president, involved in strategic planning, creating MIU’s software house, and organizing internships and job fairs for students.
ABOUT SAMUEL OKORIE
Samuel Okorie came to MIU from Nigeria and has completed an MBA in Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Analytics and Sustainable Business (double honors). A veteran participant in global meetings on climate change and sustainability, he is a member of the advisory board of the Santiago Network of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which crafted the Paris Climate Agreement. Mr. Okorie led a three-person MIU group that gave presentations at the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates held in Monterrey, Mexico, in September 2024. He is currently a Marketing and Donor Engagement Specialist for MIU.
