Dr. Mark S. Nestor will discuss a new study, recently conducted at three hospitals in South Florida, which showed important improvements in health and well-being in as little as two weeks of TM practice. Dr. Nestor will also describe his experience practicing the TM technique throughout his adult life.
ABOUT MARK S. NESTOR, M.D., PH.D.
Mark S. Nestor, M.D., Ph.D., is the lead author of the research published in March 2023 showing the rapid effects of regular TM practice on health and well-being. Dr. Nestor is the current president of the American Cutaneous Oncology Society and a past president of the American Society for Photodynamic Therapy, the International Society for Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons, and the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Nestor is also a voluntary professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.
As Director of the Center for Clinical and Cosmetic Research in Aventura, Florida, Dr. Nestor has conducted more than 150 FDA and non-FDA clinical trials and is recognized as a world expert in clinical therapeutics, drug delivery systems, and research in many areas of clinical dermatology and aesthetics.
Dr. Nestor has authored over 100 articles and book chapters. He has delivered more than 1,000 major presentations around the world and is an internationally acclaimed lecturer and instructor of clinical and aesthetic dermatology.
Dr. Nestor received his M.D. and Ph.D. in immunopathology from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at New York University.
