ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Mark Toomey, PhD, the Director of Maharishi AyurVeda programs at The Raj Ayurveda Health Center and Wellness Spa in Fairfield, Iowa, discusses the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique and how it supports balance and well-being, the individualized Maharishi AyurVeda approach to health care, as well as insights he has gained from decades of working with many thousands of people seeking greater vitality.
Dr. Toomey reflects on learning the TM technique in 1975, and the profound role it has played in shaping his understanding of health and consciousness, and on his first encounter with ayurveda in India in the 1980s. Over the decades, he has immersed himself in Maharishi AyurVeda—from opening a panchakarma clinic in the 1980s to conducting doctoral research on the effects of TM practice on cardiovascular health.
