TM weekend retreats are for everyone who has learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique. World Peace Assemblies (WPA’s) are for those who practice the advanced TM-Sidhi Program.
Having both courses on the same weekend makes a more powerful experience for everyone. Both retreats have been designed by Maharishi to offer a more profound experience and deeper knowledge. You will go home feeling less stressed, with more energy, expanded awareness and effectiveness, and greater happiness in daily life. Maharishi has said that we can rid our nervous system of years worth of stress in just one weekend!
Retreat Highlights:
All of the rooms at all prices are nice. The $780 (there are only 2 out of four of these rooms left) rooms are is larger and nicer than the $690 (14 originally, now we have 8 rooms left) priced rooms. The lovely southwestern style casita has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living area, one bath, and a patio. The living room and patio has fabulous views of the Rio Grande valley and the mountains.
The Norbertine Spiritual Center of Albuquerque is located in the high desert of the southwest, on a rise at 5200 feet of elevation, with unobstructed views of the Rio Grande Valley and the majestic Sandia Mountains. The average end of May temperature is around 79 degrees fahrenheit, and the average low around 50 degrees. Try to pack layered clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes.
Some early mornings you may see the brilliantly colored hot air balloons in the sky and over the Rio Grande River. The 70 acre property has many walking trails and a Labyrinth for self reflection.
At this elevation please drink plenty of water.
