In-Person TM Retreat, Oakwood Retreat Center | June 5-7
June 5, 2026
June 7, 2026
This retreat is a golden opportunity to dive deeper into your practice of the Transcendental Meditation® technique. Retreats are all about deep rest and extension of the benefits of TM practice across an entire weekend. Delicious organic vegetarian meals, freshly prepared, great company, and a chance to explore Maharishi’s teaching round out the experience. Over the weekend, participants will be listening to several video and audio recordings of Maharishi, some of which might go fairly deeply into particular topics, such as higher states of consciousness, followed by discussion. There’s no expectation of “learning,” just easy listening and resting. During group meetings, some participants choose to sit on the floor using provided back support. Others prefer to sit in provided chairs. Bring a blanket or favorite pillow if you like.
Retreat Highlights:
You'll enjoy a structured routine conducive to deep rest, from Friday evening to Sunday at noon. This will include extra practice of the TM technique, with added easy, gentle yoga postures (asanas) and breathing (pranayama). Leave all work at home and follow the simple routine, including early bedtime.
We will also extend your knowledge of Transcendental Meditation beyond your original four-day course. This spring retreat will include several videos of Maharishi, including:
For those who have not attended a weekend retreat before, the course fee is discounted to $475. The non-discounted fee for returning participants is $525. This covers all expenses, including your room, bath, freshly prepared (mostly) organic vegetarian meals, and al the meetings. If something comes up and you can't attend, we will refund your course fee or deporit up to 5 pm on the day before the course. Double occupancy, by couples or friends, does not lower the course fee per person.

Oakwood specializes in retreats similar to ours, with an emphasis on programs like various forms of yoga. Most rooms are designed for double or triple occupancy, but there are lots of them, so we can accommodate a fairly large group, with all rooms being available for single course participants (note that double occupancy, by couples or friends, is possible but does not lower the course fee per person). The retreat center has several buildings to house course participants, so men and women can have their own spaces. The meals are handled by the Oakwood staff, which is accustomed to organic and fresh preparation, taking into account special needs. Almost all bathrooms are shared, with some single bathrooms available first come, first served.
