Great and wise are the teachers of Transcendental Meditation.”—Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, TM Founder

We are pleased to announce the next International Transcendental Meditation® Teacher Training Course (TTC) starting March 15, 2026, and ending February 23, 2027. Pre-application for TTC may be submitted no later than March 10. Otherwise, TTC applications open on March 15, 2026, and the deadline for completing the full application is April 14, 2026. This allows time for you to complete the TTC Home Learning Program before leaving for the five-month, in-residence Teacher Training Course in Thailand. Applications received after April 14 will automatically be deferred to the 2027 TTC.

First step

The first step is to express your interest in applying to TTC by submitting two short forms no later than March 10, 2026 (see below):

  1. the register-interest form, and
  2. the pre-application form (see below)

Once prospective applicants have submitted both forms, they will be contacted to prepare for the TTC application, which opens on March 15, 2026.

There are four sections to the TM Teacher Training Course:

  • Pre-application: Prospective TTC applicants must fill out two pre-application forms by March 10, 2026. Please refer to the Application Information section below for details.
  • Application: TTC applications open on March 15, 2026, and must be completed by April 14, 2026.
Note: Applications received after this date will automatically be deferred to the 2027 TTC.
  • Home Learning: Some TTC material is learned at home once your application is accepted. The TTC Home Learning Program commences on May 10, 2026, with completion by August 15, 2026. A passing grade must be achieved for acceptance to the in-residence course in Thailand.
  • Residential Section: Chanthaburi, Thailand: September 21, 2026-February 23, 2027.

Rajapark Institute Training Center in Chanthaburi, Thailand

Course location and accommodations

The International Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Residential Course is held every year in Chanthaburi, Thailand.

Rajapark Institute Training Center in Chanthaburi is set amidst 124 acres of beautiful orchards and landscaping, with easy walking trails. The peaceful atmosphere of the campus is enriched with the blissful influence of advanced TM courses held there over many years. Delicious, nourishing vegetarian meals are served three times a day.

The unique campus was designed and built according to Maharishi Vastu® architecture, which ensures that a building or community will have only nourishing influences on its occupants. This results from the use of several key architectural principles that are based on natural law.

There are four main buildings set around a central pavilion. (See campus photo above.) As a course participant, you will enjoy renovated, single-occupancy, en-suite bedrooms, as well as comfortable, spacious classrooms and group meditation halls.

Courses for men and women are held concurrently at separate locations at the Rajapark Institute Training Center. For maximum focus on the rich curriculum that TM Founder Maharishi Mahesh Yogi structured for TM Teacher Training, the two courses take place without interaction between the groups.

Course fee

The course fee is 19,500 euros, which includes tuition and full room and board for the residential section of the course. Applicants with the financial means to do so are asked to contribute the full fee. Candidates who are accepted to the course and demonstrate financial need may apply for a partial scholarship.

Scholarship amounts vary according to the level of economic development of the country you are applying from and range from 45-70% of the course fee. Details on how to apply for a scholarship will be found in the online TTC application.

Note: The costs of the SCI and the TM-Sidhi courses are not included in the TTC course fee. Expenses for all transportation, visas, health insurance, and other incidentals are the responsibility of each course participant.

What is needed to apply for TTC

The requirements to apply for the TM Teacher Training Course include both experience and intellectual understanding of the TM technique and Advanced Programs, as follows:

  • Two-year commitment after becoming a Certified TM Teacher: Priority will be given to applicants who commit to work full time, teaching the Transcendental Meditation technique for at least two years after completion of TTC. The two-year commitment will apply especially for those seeking scholarships.
  • Practicing the TM-Sidhi® program for at least three months before the start of TTC: Meditators who are not yet practicing the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi ProgramSM should immediately apply for the TM-Sidhi course (also known as “Center Invincibility Course” or “CIC”) and contact their local TM Center to help facilitate their enrollment process. TTC applicants must complete the TM-Sidhi course at least three months before the start of TTC.
Note: Although completion of Part 2 of the TM-Sidhi course on July 10, 2026 does not meet the requirement to be practicing the TM-Sidhi program for at least three months prior to TTC, exceptions may be granted following a complete review of all aspects of the TTC application, including all recommendations and evaluations. See the TM-Sidhi course section below for further details.
  • Graduation from the Science of Creative Intelligence Course: The Science of Creative Intelligence Course (SCI) must be taken for the first time or reviewed within two years as of February 1, 2026. In case you need to take the SCI course, and it will not be offered in your local area in the near future, you may qualify by attending the next online SCI course, which will be offered from February 1 to May 24, 2026 (some late entry is accepted). You may apply here.

Special points and requirements for TTC applicants

  • Age of applicants: Recent college graduates and young professionals are especially encouraged to apply. However, all interested candidates are warmly welcome to apply.
  • Desire to study: Applicants must be aware that TTC requires significant study and focus over a one-year period. The TTC Home Learning Program requires significant memorization over many months. The Residential Section of the course is five months of full immersion in a daily routine of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs, with videos of knowledge and training to become a Certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation.
  • TTC Home Learning Program: Applicants are required to complete several weeks of pre-TTC study assignments at home before leaving for the in-residence, five-month TTC. For this reason, it is important to apply early in order to learn the necessary material for the study assignments and meet the TTC acceptance standards.
  • Language: The course lessons will be in English, but if there is sufficient interest from other language groups, translation may be arranged. Regardless of your English skills, you are encouraged to apply. All participants will learn to teach the Transcendental Meditation technique in their mother tongue.
  • Health insurance: Course participants are required to have health insurance that covers them at the course location. More information about this requirement is supplied later in the full application process.

Application process for TTC

Phase 1: Submit two pre-application forms online
Applicants from the United States are required to complete two short pre-application forms online. Please fill out and submit both forms:

  1. First: Complete the TTC Pre-Application to record your interest in TTC. All prospective applicants who complete the Register Interest form will be contacted in early March.
  2. Next: Complete the US Residents Supplemental Pre-Application
  • After completing both steps, you will be contacted in early March with further details.

Meditators who are not yet practicing the TM-Sidhi program, please ask your recommending Governor as soon as possible how to apply for the next TM-Sidhi course (CIC), because your TTC and TM-Sidhi course applications must be processed together. See all details about CIC dates and requirements below.

Phase 2: Complete the online TTC application and all requirements

Once you have completed the two required pre-application forms (see Phase 1 above) to indicate your interest, you will be notified how to proceed. Phase 2 involves detailed TTC application information and requirements that are only available online on the private TTC 2026 website.

This is an extensive application, so please begin working with your recommending Governor as soon as possible. Meet with him or her to go over all the application requirements, including an interview with a Board of Governors and more. The online TTC application website also provides information about the daily TTC routine and activities.

For more information, U.S. citizens may contact ttco@tm.org. Please indicate your age, when and where you learned the TM technique, and whether you have completed the TM-Sidhi course.

We look forward to welcoming many applicants to take part in TTC 2026!

Science of Creative Intelligence (SCI) 2026 Online Course, February 1 to May 24, 2026 (some late entry is accepted)

“The main theme of SCI is that there exists a source from which Creative Intelligence springs and a goal toward which it progresses as the process of evolution unfolds. This source and this goal are identical and can be identified as the innermost area of one’s own life, as the source of the thinking process: the self-referral consciousness of everyone, the field of pure Creative Intelligence.”—Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Successful completion of the SCI Course is a requirement for acceptance to TTC.

The Science of Creative Intelligence Course (SCI) must be taken for the first time or reviewed within two years as of February 1, 2026.

In case you need to take the SCI course and it will not be offered in your local area in the near future, you may qualify by attending the next online SCI course, which will be offered from February 1 to May 24, 2026 (some late entry is accepted). The standard course fee for the Science of Creative Intelligence Course is 450 euros.

Complete details of the SCI course content and structure can be found on the SCI course application page: Please apply here for the SCI Course.

TM-Sidhi course (Center Invincibility Course—CIC) structure, dates, location, schedule, and costs

The TM-Sidhi program is a natural extension of the Transcendental Meditation technique. During the TM technique the individual experiences progressively quieter, less excited states of the thinking process, until the finest level of thought is transcended and the self-referral state of transcendental consciousness is gained, which Maharishi describes as “the infinite reservoir of energy, creativity, and intelligence that lies deep within everyone.”

The TM-Sidhi program cultures the ability to think and act from this level of our consciousness, making the total potential of natural law available in practical life. The result is greater skill in action—the ability to fulfill one’s desires naturally while effortlessly promoting the evolution of everyone and everything.

The TM-Sidhi program … trains the conscious mind to function from bliss consciousness, the self-referral state of pure consciousness, which is the total potential of natural law.
—Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Note: The cost of the TM-Sidhi course and any requirements for Advanced Techniques are not included in the TTC fee.

Requirements for application to CIC #101

    1. Meditators must have attended one weekend TM Retreat (in residence, not online) within 12 months prior to applying for the TM-Sidhi course.
    2. Completion of four Advanced Techniques of the TM program, with at least two months’ regular practice after receiving the last one. Full-time Maharishi International University (MIU) students living in Fairfield applying for TTC are strongly encouraged to get all four Advanced Techniques beforehand, but may take CIC after having received only two Advanced Techniques. Applicants who completed CIC in the past must have taken at least two Advanced Techniques to qualify for acceptance to TTC.
    3. Recommendations from three to four (3–4) Certified TM Teachers, who are not relatives of the applicant. MIU students need a minimum of two (2) of the three to four (3–4) recommendations from their academic teachers who are also Certified TM Teachers.
    4. Six (6) passport photos. On the back of each photo, write your name and “CIC #101.”

Apply well in advance of the CIC start date, so your CIC application can be processed in conjunction with your TTC application.
